Billed as the richest candidate in the fray from Bangalore, Reddy has declared assets worth Rs 220 crores which includes land, property and apartments valued at Rs 200 crore.
His cars alone are worth Rs 3 crore. Reddy also has declared a cash of Rs 12.38 lakhs- Rs 75,850 in his wife's name- and bank balance of Rs 65 lakh. The rest accounts to investments and other savings.
"We are landlords and own property in the city, this has contributed to the major share of the assets declared by me," he said when asked about his distinction of being the richest candidate to contest from Bangalore.
Reddy, a first time contestant, who is pitted against former Congress minister R Ramalinga Reddy and JD(S) candidate G Mohan says that he is confident of winning the elections as he is aware of the problems the people of the constituency face.
A resident of Koramangala, Reddy uses a Marriage Hall in the upmarket locality as his party office.
“Removing Infrastructure hurdles and solving the traffic problems will be my topmost priority. As far as benefits for the poor are concerned they would be given title deeds if I am elected,” he said.
