Applications: A total of 15,498 candidates have applied for MBBS and BDS, 48,422 candidates have applied for BE while 8,070 candidates have applied for MBBS, BDS and BE.
The number of application received from Karnataka candidates is 20,137 while 51,855 applications were received from Non-Karnataka candidates.
Test Admission Tickets(TAT): The TATs have been dispatched to all the candidates as per the date mentioned in the event calendar of COMEDK.
Candidates who do not receive the TAT may contact the COMEDK Help Desk for assistance. Candidates can also check the TAT details in the COMEDK website under the applicant login provided for the individual candidate. The Candidates may also go one day prior before the examination to the test centre assigned to collect the duplicate Test Admission Ticket. Help Desk will be set up at all the test centres to assist the candidates.
The COMEDK UGET will be conducted across 83 centres in the city and at 26 centres across the state.
Test Schedule
The COMEDK UGET will be held on May 4 with physics and chemistry (10 am to 12 noon), Biology (2 pm to 3 pm) and Mathematics (3.30 pm to 4.30 pm).
Instructions: All the candidates need to report to the test centre 60 minutes before the commencement of the UGET.
Candidates arriving later than 15 minutes after the commencement of the test will not be allowed to take the test.
The combined paper of Physics and Chemistry is compulsory for all the candidates appearing for COMEDK UGET ‘08 and this test is held at at 10am till 12pm. Biology is compulsory for the candidates aspiring to pursue MBBS or BDS. Mathematics is compulsory for students intending to pursue BE.
Every test centre will have around 50 officials to conduct the test in a smooth manner. A team of 3 squad members will visit the test centre to inspect the conduct of the test. To ensure fairness to the merited students and to eliminate fraudulent attempts, COMEDK will uses biometric at various stages of the process and would be done at the discretion of COMEDK.
Candidates must carry TAT and the original date of birth and ID Proof certificate; Use only black or blue ballpoint pen for marking answers. Candidates are allowed to carry electronic gadgets, dictionaries, reference materials, whitener, manuals, editing devices or graphic organisers.
