Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Karkala (Udupi dt) 3; Dharmasthala (Dakshina Kannada dt), Belgaum AP 2 each; Mudibidre (Dakshina Kannada dt) 1. Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka. Gulbarga and Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.1 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Monday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
