In the wake of the terror attacks in Hyderabad, the police have asked cinema halls and mall owners to take extra care and go in for vigorous checks.
On Sunday, Addition Commissioner Law and Order Bipin Gopala Krishna said, jurisdictional police stations have been advised to call a meeting of owners of theatres, malls and prominent outlets. “They have been told to be more cautious and have a through check”, he said
A meeting of DCPs and ACPs will be held on Monday. Meanwhile, security has been beefed up across the State with special vigil on shrines, public places, communally sensitive ares, bus stations, railway stations and airports.
“Additional forces will be roped in depending on the situation and we have shortlisted sensitive points where deployment has already started,” he added.
