The 336 anniversary of Sri Raghavendra Swami was celebrated in all its grandeur at the Byatarayaswami temple, here on Thursday, the second day of the programme.
After the mangalarathi, Raghavendra Brindavan Foundation Trust president T L Nagaraju recalled the services of the trust’s treasurer Nagaraju and offered condolences at his untimely death. He said that in his place his brother Gopalakrishna was appointed treasurer.
The next aradhana mahotsava will be celebrated at the new brindavan in the site donated by fromer MLA late B S Chandrashekar opposite KEB grounds, he said.
Gopalakrishna announced that the cost of the sanctom sanctorum will be borne by him in his brother’s memory. Hotel Subbaraya, B C Narasimhamurthy, Byatarayaswami temple dharmadharshi Shamanna, Havalada Ramegowda and former councillor Naganna were present.
