Four persons of a family were killed in a road mishap on Thursday near Giliyaru cross road in Kundapur.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Reheman (32), B Fathima (55), Khatijamma (32) and Nafisa (35).
The sources said that they were returning home after visiting one of their relatives in a hospital on Thursday evening when their Maruti car collided with an ore lorry.

The car was completely damaged killing three of them on the spot while Khatijamma breathed her last on en route to the hospital.

Abdul Reheman, who was driving the car was an engineer by profession and owned a mobile shop in Saligram. The other three deceased are his mother and sisters-in-law.
