A student of the Kolar Government Degree College and  a  resident of Kolar Gold Fields, Mathew Williams died at his home due  to  electrocution on  Wednesday.

His college mates and lecturers paid homage to the departed youth in a condolence meet  held  in college and prayed  for his soul to rest in  peace.

Mathew was a student of final  year BSc in the  first grade college. He is said to have   died at  his  residence  when he accidently  came into contact with a live wire that was  hanging there.
