Saxophone recital
Sree Guruvayurappan Bhajan Samaj Trust is organising a saxophone concert by Kadri Gopalnath on August 31 at 6 pm at Odukkathur Swamigal Mutt, Gangadhara Chetty Road, near Ulsoor Lake.
Shehnai concert
Kalaabhimaani presents Hindustani classical music by Smita Bellur (vocal) followed by Pramod Gaikwad (shehnai) on September 2 at 5 pm at Indian Heritage Academy, 20th Main, 6th Block, Koramangala.
Vocal concert
Gokhale Institue of Public Affairs and Nadashri Sangeet Sabha presents Hindustani Vocal recital by Abhijit Shenoy and Hindustani Shehnai recital by Pandit Pramod Gaikwad (Pune) on September 2 at 10 am at DVG Sabhangana,Gokhale Institute of Public affairs, Bull temple Road (Opp BMS Engg College), N R Colony.
Vocal duet
Amrutavarshini and Ananya is organising a duet vocal concert by Chinmaya Sisters (Uma and Radhika) from Chennai on September 2 at 10.30 am at Ananya Auditorium, 19/2, 4th Main, Malleshwaram.
They will be accompanied by J K Sridhar (violin), ASN Swamy (mridangam), Sukanya Ramgopal (ghatam), Bhagyalakshmi M Krishna (morching) and K S Gopalakrishna (tamboora).
Solo, duet
Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir is organising two vocal concerts at concert hall of the Kala Mandir at  9th Main, Banashankari II Stage. 
Vocal performance will be rendered by G Ravikiran (September 2, 10.30 am) and the vocal duet will be by the  Chinmaya Sisters — Uma and Radhika on the 3rd of September  at  5.30 pm.
Painting show
Time and Space Art Gallery is organising an exhibition of paintings and collages by Kanika Mukerjee and Ashish Hazra from August 27 to September 1 at the Gallery premises at No 55 Lavelle Road.          
Group show
Ati Art Gallery is organising an art show,”Independent India - an art show of the new era artists”, to celebrate 60 years of Independence.  The show will showcase a group exhibition of more than 40 works in acrylic, oil and mixed media on canvas by 26 artists. 
The show exhibits works of established artists who were born after independence like Anand Moy Banerjee, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Bose Krishnamachari, Dinesh Ram, George Martin and Gurdeep among others. The show will be from September 7 to 9 of between 11 am and 8 pm at Hotel Ista.
Twin shows
Gallery Sumukha is presenting recent works by Rokeya Sultana and “Urban existence”, recent works by M Pavan Kumar from August 29 to September 11 at the Galllery premises located at 24/10 BTS Depot Road, Wilson Garden.
Mixed media
Kynkyny Art Gallery is presenting an exhibition of recent mixed media paintings by Basuki Dasgupta from August 28 to September 15 at the Gallery premises located at 33/200 N S Iyengar Street, off Railway Parallel Road, Nehrunagar, Kumara Park.
Techno art
Magnitude Gallery presents “Techno Art” theme based on the myriad beauty hidden in technology on August 30 and 31 from 10 am to 8 pm at the Gallery premises  at No 140/13, 27th Cross, 13th Main, 3rd Block, Jayanagar.
Cassette release
Upaasana is organising the release of “Chakoriamma”, a cassette comprising eight children’s songs based on the poems of H S Venkatesh Murthy on August 31 at 6 pm at Bangalore Gayana Samaj, K R Road. The cassette will be released by noted litterateur L S Seshagiri Rao. After this, 200 children will sing and dance.
Chandelier exhibition
Crystal Town and Crystal Shop is organising an exhibition of custom-made chandeliers and lamps at RainTree,  Sankey Road on Aug 31 and Sept 1 from 11 am to 7 pm.
