Tibetan Youth Congress will start Tibetan Independence March on Monday from Bangalore, to press the Chinese Govt to free Tibet which will conclude at Chennai on Jan 1. The march begins at 9.45 am at Chika Lal Bagh Garden, Majestic. Tibetan Youth Congress President Tsewant Rigzin said, the  march which marks World Human Rights Day has been organised to draw the attention of international community towards the atrocities meted out on the Tibetan population.

It has demanded independence of Tibet; withdrawal of Order-5- China’s new regulatory measures for reincarnation of Living Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism; total prevention of human rights violation; no Olympics in China till the freedom of Tibet, release of all political prisoners including Panchen Lama.
