I am a 17-year-old girl. I coloured my hair two years ago and I think, because of which I have lost a lot of hair and have a small bald patch. I use herbal remedies. Though my hair texture has improved, there is no regrowth on the bald patch. Please advise.
The problem you have seems to be Alopecia areata - Alopecia areata is a form of hair loss from areas of the body, usually from the scalp. Please consult a dermatologist so that the patch without hair can be visualised and properly diagnosed and can be appropriately managed. It can be cured and it rarely spreads. You can continue applying herbal hair oil and have hot towel steam every week.
I am 14 years old. I have a lot of pimples. My father says I should massage my face after I eat as then, my hand will be full of nutrients and these can help cure pimples. Is this true?
Acne (Pimples) is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous glands of the skin. The condition results in part from excessive stimulation of the skin by androgens (male hormones). Acne can be managed by creams, lotions, oral medicines, etc depending on the severity and type of acne. Often, acne clears up after several years, even without treatment. Do not touch, squeeze or prick the pimples as they leave behind pigmented marks and scars.
Drink lots of water atleast 6-8 glasses per day. Include all vegetables and fruits in your diet. Here are few home remedies for Pimples: Create a solution of one part lemon juice and one part rose water. Leave this mixture on the face for 30 minutes to help with pimples and other blemishes. The juice of one fresh lime, some boiled milk, a tsp of glycerine is an excellent home remedy for pimples, black heads, etc.
