Riding on Narendra Singh’s unbeaten 110, YFA Sports Club prevailed over Whirlwind Cricketers by one wicket in a nail biting finish in the KSCA League cum knockout tournament for Metro Shield on Friday.
After Tariq Wali (97) powered Whirlwind to a commanding 299 for 8 in 50 overs.

YFA had their back to the walls, before Narendra did the rescue act with his unbeaten century. Aftab chipped in with a useful 53 as YFA won with just two balls to spare.

BR Sunil took 7-69 to fashion Sangam Cricket Association’s four-wicket win over Yankees Cricket Club in another match.

Despite Maan Kumar’s unbeaten 58, Yankees were restricted to 171 in 49.1 overs. Sangam romped home in 35 overs with Dayalan top-scoring with 34.
