Amruthesh does the star act

Amruthesh’s five-wicket haul helped National High School beat St John’s High School by 54 runs in a low-scoring match in the BT Ramaiah Shield (U-15) cricket tournament on Friday.

Batting first, National High School could manage only 130 with Aamir returning figures of 5-22 for St John’s.
In reply, St John’s found Amruthesh too hot to handle as he ran through their batting order with figures of 5-16 to help Nationals win. Arun complemented Amruthesh’ efforts by chipping in with a useful spell of 3-8
Brief scores: National High School: 130 all out in 32.1 overs (Aamir 5-22, Ashwath 2-19) bt St John’s High School: 76 all out in 18.1 overs (Amruthesh 5-16, Arun 3-8).

St. Joseph’s Indian HS: 235 all out in 44.2 overs (Adarsh L 85, Nihal 27; Sanchith 2-44, Sajeel 3-23) bt Bishop Cotton Boy’s School: 168/9 in 45 overs (Sanchith 56, Karthik 28; K Vamshidhar 5-24, Santosh 2-26).

Bangalore Higher Sec School: 205 all out in 45 overs (Anish 61, Parikshith 85; Abhishek 5-36, Kunal 3-31) lt to Frank Anthony Public School: 209/8 in 44.2 overs (Dherak 57, Kunal 32, Samuel 30; Ullas 4/55).

Holy Saint English School: 133 all out in 40.1 overs (Vikas 36; Rahul 3-26, Pawan 4-14) lt to St Joseph’s Boy’s High School: 135/3 in 25.4 overs (Prashanth 50, Sherwin 39 n.o.).

Presidency School: 305/4 in 45 overs (Mandeep 91, V Abhishek 68; Varun 2-19) bt Parachute Regiment School: 108 all out in 27.4 overs (Arun Pande 3-14, Ganesh 3-11).

SSM School: 228 all out in 38.5 overs (Kishore 51, Karthik 75) bt Sudarshan Vidyamandir: 208/9 in 45 overs (Karthik 62, Suresh 50; Anand 3-31).
