India bury Pakistan under runs and records 
Pakistan began with the pressure of a huge total and Salman Butt showed the right intent playing defensive shots when it needed and being at his aggressive best when the ball were presented to be hit. India rode to their highest-ever score on home soil against Pakistan as Ganguly helped hmself to his first century at the Eden Gardens while Jaffer became the fifth Indian batsman to score a double century against Pakistan.

Ganguly reached his 100 off a single off Danish Kaneria, punched the air and stood with his helmet and bat raised. What a relief! His first century at the Eden and first against Pakistan, after 98 Tests, plundering over 5000 runs and 13 centuries around the world.

     MESMERISING MAHABALIPURAM

    Mahabalipuram lies on the Coromandel Coast which faces the Bay of Bengal. This elegant place was a well established sea port during the 7th and 10th centuries of the Pallava dynasty. This was the second capital of the Pallavas who ruled Kanchipuram. The place is well-known for ancient monuments, historic shore temples and their unique sculpture.
