Strict steps on CET demanded
Kolar, DHNS:
The state unemployment teachers' welfare committee demanded the Deputy director of Public Instructions department to take suitable action against those who repeatedly appear for CET exams, which has effected the educated unemployees.

A protest was held under the leadership of B Suresh Gowda on Saturday in front of the office of the DDPI and said that the original records of appointed teachers should be held, so that they could be avoided in appearing for the exams again, the protesters  added.

They also stressed that a new rule should be formulated such that if at all the appointed lecturers want to appear for the exam, they have to be made to resign within the last date of notification of the appointment and also until they complete their probationary period, the original records should not be returned, they said.
The protesters  also demanded that the recruitment of primary teachers have to be done at the state level and not at the district level.
