Handicrafts products range from rich embroidery from Kutch to traditional Ajraku and Chuuni (block print). A large number of garments like salwar suits, jackets, skirts, sarees, bedcovers, cushion covers are some of the items made with block prints. Chaklas are generally square peices of embroidered cloth. Hand-crafted roof covering, canopies, Chandarvas’ are still prominent part of Gujarat.
Other embroidery works on wall hanging, cushion cover, tie-and-dye on fabrics like cotton and silk sarees, dupattas, dress materials are done in Jamnagar and Bhuj mandi. Metal engraving on aluminium and brass sheet metal are from Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Meshana districts. Utility items include jewellery box, photo frames, key chain stands and service trays.
