“There is a rumour that the Session will be adjourned in advance. It is not correct. It will end on December 7 by when we hope to end all our pending legislative business,” Mr Dasmunsi said here. The business related to financial obligations of the government got over on Monday, while the priority legislations would be disposed of by the last day, he said.
With most of the business of the Session having got over except the debate on the nuclear agreement scheduled for Tuesday in the Rajya Sabha, there have been speculations that there could be sine die adjournment of both Houses of Parliament once the discussion in the Upper House get over. Mr Dasmunsi said External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee would reply to the discussion in the Upper House.
