Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda (SDMCA) at Katpadi will be organising “Soushruthi-2007,” a three-day International Conference on Surgery (Shalya), ENT (Shalakya) and Gynaecology (Prasooti tantra), from December 14 to 16 in the college premises, informed organising secretary of the conference Dr K R Ramachandra here on Thursday.
Speaking to press persons, Dr Ramachandra said that the conference is organised as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the College and will be inaugurated by Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Dr P S Prabhakaran.
Around 140 scientific research papers on the various aspects of the three subjects will be presented by experts from India and abroad.
He also informed that delegates from Japan, Sri Lanka, Paris and England are expected to attend the conference. A book written by Dr V N K Usha on Gynaecology will be released by Director of IMS Varanasi Dr Gajendra Singh on the occasion.
The newly built Shri Dharmasthala Mathrushri Ratnamma Memorial Golden Jubilee Building and Bhava Prakasha Auditorium will also be inaugurated on the occasion, Dr Ramachandra informed.
