Vivica A Fox officially booked for DUI

Hollywood actress Vivica A Fox has been officially booked on misdemeanour Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charges stemming from her March arrest during a traffic stop, ANI reports from Washington.

On March 20, 2007, the 43-year-old was arrested for DUI after she passed a marked police car while going 80 mph on freeway. When tested she was found to be driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 per cent.

A Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesman said that the defence counsel requested that she be allowed to turn herself in for processing.

The cop who put the cuffs on her the night of March 20 stated in his report that Fox, used racist language toward him and the other patrolman at the scene.

“Fox began to walk away, yelling at my partner, ‘Brother, help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this... Well, are you?’,” E!Online quoted the cop, as stating in his  report. But since her alleged behaviour Fox has not spoken up. Her next hearing is scheduled for Dec 9.

Posh reveals her ‘miserable’ school days

Victoria Beckham revealed that her school days were the worst phase of her life, ANI reports from Washington.

The Spice Girl admitted that she was bullied a lot by her schoolmates and even used to throw stones at her.   

“They were literally picking things up out of the puddles and throwing them at me. I just stood there, on my own. No one was with me,” the singer was quoted as saying.

The 33-year-old singer also said that she didn’t have any friends and kept to herself.

“I didn’t have any friends. People would push me around, say they were going to beat me up after school, chase me.”

“It was miserable, my whole schooling, miserable. I tried to be friends with people, but I didn’t fit in. So I kept myself to myself,” she added.

The Modern Girl’s Guide’ to bust pill myths

Madonna, family speak to baby in three languages

Pop superstar Madonna’s family speaks to adopted baby David Banda in three languages, IANS reports from London.

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie speak to him in English, her daughter Lourdes speaks to him in French and the family have classes in the Malawian tongue Chichewa. As a result, he has started talking in a strange combination of the three, answering “Oui, oiu” to most things.

The couple use the few Chichewa words they know which includes mummy, daddy and hello and occasionally Madonna sings a Chichewa lullaby she knows as Ritchie plays a guitar piece to it.

A source said: “David constantly wants his mum to hold him, asks for kisses, smiles and seems extremely attached to Madonna. She is completely ga ga over him.”

Spears had a miscarriage?

Britney Spears’ might have had a miscarriage, claims a message on myspace.com.

Speculation about her pregnancy started whirling when a message on the website, claiming to be from Spears, disclosed that she was pregnant with music producer J R Rotem’s child. Rotem then confirmed the reports in a message to a US magazine, only to deny them later.

There is now a second message claiming that Spears, who has two sons with her former husband Kevin Federline, lost the baby.

It reads: “I don’t really want to talk about it, but I will say that I have not been feeling well (cramps and spotting) for the past few days. I finally saw my doctor, and she said it was too late.”

Dion wants more children

Pop singer Celine Dion is keen to have more children with her husband Rene Angelil, IANS reports from London.

Her son Rene-Charles was born in January 2001 after the singer underwent some fertility treatment and now she is hoping to have another baby through the same process.

She was quoted as saying: “I would love to. It’s a miracle child that we have. I thought at one point I was not going to be able to have a child. I’m not going to be greedy. I hope we’ll be blessed again. If not, we will cherish every moment we have with our son.”

Craig owes daughter £200 for swearing

Bond star Daniel Craig is being hounded for £200 because he could not avoid swearing on the set of his new film The Golden Compass, IANS reports from London.

The 39-year old set up a swear box so that the cast and crew of the film would not use bad language in front of his 13-year-old daughter Dakota.

He said: “I didn’t think I’d be the one who’d have to cough up, but I just couldn’t help myself. The whole thing became a bit of a joke between Dakota and me. I wouldn’t realise I’d sworn until I heard someone shout, ‘That’s another pound!’ I think the pot ended up at around £200.” But Craig has still not paid the money.

“It should have been more than £200 and Daniel still owes me the money. He keeps saying to put it on his tab.

I’ll have to chase him up,” said his daughter.
