AKKA invites articles
Association of Kannada Kootas of America (AKKA) has invited articles for the souvenir, which will be released on the occasion of ‘5th AKKA World Kannada Conference’ to be held at Rosement, Illinois, US on August 29, 30 and 31, 2008. Preference will be given to articles related to theme of the conference - ‘Showcasing the Talents and Heritage of World Kannadigas’.

Urdu Habba
A four-day Urdu Habba will be held in Bangalore starting December 23. The event will be inaugurated by Bollywood star Raza Murad at Town Hall on December 23.
