Rain-free cricket
Bangalore, DHNS:
There is some good news for cricket lovers. Bangalore may only experience light drizzle this weekend when the India-Pakistan test match is set to begin without affecting the match in any way.

According to G S Vijayaraghavan, Director, Meteorology Department, an ardent cricket fan himself, there is no likelihood of rains either on Saturday or Sunday.

According to him, the sky has remained cloudy of late due to lack of adequate sunlight. Humidity has set in and it’s not winter chill.

The minimum temperatures in the next three days would be around 17 degrees Celsius compared with the normal minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, which is common this season.

Mr Vijayaraghavan said the maximum temperature recorded on Thursday was 26 degrees Celsius compared with 24 degrees Celsius recorded on Wednesday.
