Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna who was in Bangalore on Saturday, amidst speculation about his possible re-entry into active politics, chose to the talk about traffic management.
He had a suggestion to the present administration - improve traffic management of the City by taking suggestions from a body like Bangalore Agenda Task Force (BATF). “I would suggest the Governor to take the help of BATF like body to address traffic woes,” he said.
BATF was the brainchild of Krishna initiated during his tenure as the CM. However, successive governments had not only sidelined the suggestions made by the BATF but also wound it up.
Mr Krishna was in the City to participate in the Sahasradhara Maharudra Yagna at the Kashi Vishwanatha Temple in Chickpet. “I am happy to participate in the Yagna, being held for the betterment of humanity,” he said. He was accompanied by his wife Prema. Mr Krishna, however, refused to answer any questions on politics.
