There is a divine power in each and every individual. Every human being should explore this power and utilise it for the well being of the humanity, said Panchavati Govindateertha Swamiji.
Speaking at his 65th birthday celebrations at Panchavati Ashram near Bairanayakanahalli on Wednesday, the Swamiji said meditation helps one in realising the divine power within oneself. Every religion preaches the same message of love and cordial relationship with fellow beings. People of all religions should live in harmony so that there is peace everywhere, he said. Food, education, and medical facilities should be easily made available to everyone, he added.
Everyone should be service minded and understand the true meaning of life through spiritual way, said former legislator S M Muniappa. Taluk panchayat former president S Y Mariappa called upon people to serve the poor and the needy.
Music programme and bhajans were organised on the occasion.
Prizes were distributed to meritorious students. Subhash of Muddenahalli welcomed the gathering.

Three-legged dog
There is a dog in the Panchavati Ashram premises which has got only three legs. The dog is also visually impaired. Still it is living a happy life in the Ashram premises with the blessings of Govindateertha Swamiji. Food is being served to the dog everyday at the Ashram.
Devotees who visit the Ashram are also very kind to the dog and give it a lot of food.
The dog is an instance of how every being can attain a happy and peaceful life in a spritual atmosphere.
