The ultimate aim of management is to attain peace of mind, said Founder Director of IIMB Padmabhushan Prof N S Ramaswamy. He was speaking after inaugurating the Management Day programmes at Siddaganga Engineering college organised by Tumkur Management Association (TUMA) on Friday.
Management education assumes highest position in the field of education. It encompasses almost all sectors. Management is part and parcel of our personal and professional life. It teaches patience, sense of sacrifice, the art of functioning under stressful conditions and communication skills. The students of management should put concentrated efforts to achieve their goals, said Mr Ramaswamy, who was also felicitated with Lifetime Achievement Award by TUMA.
TUMA president T M Swamy welcomed the gathering. Industrialist H G Chandrashekhar, Dr Y M Reddy and Somshekhar were present on the dais.
