The newly constructed Lakshmi Shanthidhama old age home at Vijalapur village in Avani hobli of the taluk will be inaugurated by Union Minister for land transport K H Muniyappa on February 24.

Shivagange Jnananadapuri swamiji of Mahalakshmi peeta, former Minister A Krishnappa will also be present.
Former MLA R Srinivas will preside over the function.

Actor Rajesh, industrialist Ushaprasad, social workers V S Nataraj, V N Virupakshaiah, Zilla Panchayat member Avani Krishnappa, District Congress President N S Bisse Gowda and others will participate, said President of old age home M Srinivas Yadav, Secretary G Pushpa.
