The Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) , Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM), Tablig-e-Jamaat , Deendar Anjuman, and, Harkat-Ul Jihad Islami (HUJI) are some of the organisations behind creating mayhem in the South of India. Hyderabad and Bangalore are “soft and easy terror targets” as there are a number of vital defence research organisations, space institutions and major IT companies. “Economic disruption, ferreting intelligence on defence establishments and creating communal divide are the prime motives. Hyderabad has higher ISI-Jehadi penetration than Bangalore,” say intelligence sources.
