Heart check up camp
Chintamani, DHNS: A heart check up camp has been jointly organised by the city based Deccan hospital and Bangalore’s Wockhardt on March 1 at Deccan hospital, said Deccan hospital Administrative Officer Venugopal.
  In the camp people will be  treated for various heart related problems including high BP and others. The people have been asked make good use of this opportunity. Interested people can register their names at the Deccan hospital.

Treatment will be given on the first come first service basis.

Four injured
Mulbagal, DHNS: Four people from Bangalore were injured when a jeep collided with the car in which they were travelling near Balijapalli village on NH 4 on Sunday night.

Lakshmipriya, Sundaribai, Ganesh Kumar and Phalanivenu were returning to Bangalore from Melavatturu when the jeep collided with the car. The condition of Lakshmipriya and Phalanivenu is said to be critical and have been taken to Appolo hospital in Arekonda.

Bangaarpalyam police have registered a case.
