Speaking to reporters in Bangalore, he alleged that the Railway Minister has been partial to the State in his budget presented in Parliament on Tuesday.
Let alone sanctioning new projects, no funds have been earmarked to any of the ongoing projects, he
stated.
He also warned that the party will take up the issue during election campaign.
Reacting sharply to Lalu’s statement that he was responsible for Gowda to become the PM, he said: “I know very well who made me the PM... It was, in fact, MPs from Bihar who pulled me down from the post,” he stated.
Reiterating that elections to the State assembly are likely to be held before May, he said the JD(S) is fully prepared to face it.
Meanwhile, former CM H D Kumaraswamy held a meeting with former MLAs of the party on preparations that need to be made for the elections, at a private resort on the outskirts of the city.
The leaders, discussed among other things, about the party tour campaign and selection of candidates, sources said.
