After a tug-of-war on Thursday between Sophia high school authorities and the parent of Sneha, a student, over the alleged harassment by a teacher, the matter has been resolved ‘amicably’ with both parties agreeing to ‘forget the past’.

Sneha’s father KN Venkatesh, who is a High Court Lawyer, and representatives of the school management went to the High Grounds police station on Friday and resolved their dispute.

“The father of the girl withdrew his complaint against the teacher. The school administration has also agreed to check if the girl was really harassed by the teacher,” said police sources.

The girl’s father, KN Venkatesh had lodged a police complaint against a teacher for allegedly harassing his daughter before the exams, alleging that it had led to her poor performance.
