A two-spindle e-charka kit shows remarkable utility value. Designed by Flexitron, it helps in the generation of electricity while spinning. It can be housed in a storage unit. It helps in generating power which can be used to operate a radio and to light up a bulb.
An intelligent unmanned ground vehicle fitted with camera and mini helicopters is a product that could help in tackling terror activities. The model was designed by the M S Ramaiah Institute of Advanced Studies with funding from the DRDO and the Council of Scientific and Industrial research to the tune of Rs 28 lakhs, said Dr Shantapal, institute director. It will be showcased at the forthcoming International Micro Air Vehicle competition to be held at Agra from March 8 to 15.
A student of the institute, Anjur had designed a car by modifying a swift model. Apart from a fridge and draws, the seat in the front left row was placed in the reverse direction for comfort.
“This is aimed at families travelling long distance,” he said.
