Teen murderer has cops baffled
DH News Service, Bangalore:
Even in their wildest dreams, Kamalamma, her mother-in-law and Geetha Lakshmi would never have thought that they would be rewarded with death for bringing up Raghu...

Raghu, Puttaswamy and Rajesh, all in their teens and residents of Nagamangala, were arrested by the Subramanyapura police in connection with the murder of Geetha Lakshmi, who was murdered at her Yalachenahalli residence on Kanakapura road a few days ago. Police said the boys murdered her and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh.

During interrogation, Raghu (19) told the police that he had murdered his mother Kamalamma and his grandmother as they denied to give him some money. He had been sent to the juvenile home. After he was released, he frequently visited his aunt Geetha Lakshmi, who had no children. On learning that she had jewellery, Raghu killed her with the help of his friends Puttaswamy and Rajesh.

“This boy is strange  and he did not have any bad habits. Why he needed money is puzzling,” said Police Commissioner Achutha Rao.
