The Mutt provides free food and accommodation facilities to farmers who come from far off places such as Bijapur, Bagalkote, Hubli, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Davan agere, Chitradurga, Kolar, Bangalore rural, Mandya, Mysore, Hasan apart from Tumkur districts also. Even the cattle are provided fodder, water and other facilities to ensure that they are comfortable.
The cattle fair is not only limited to sale, but also are exhibited by Patel, Gowda and Jameendar families. These cattle are awarded prizes from the Mutt too. Cattle insurance is also provided.
Cattle prizes range from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,50,000 and this time the most expensive cattle sold as by Chikkanna Devara Hatti’s Papanna for Rs 1,85,000.
Apart from the cattle fair, there are also various religious and cultural activities which have been attracting not only farmers but also people from far of places.
