Training in Vedanta

Kolar: Chinmaya Mission Institute will be providing two-year training to unmarried youths on the rich Indian culture, art, Vedanta and Bhagavad Geetha, free of cost.

The candidates should be between 20 to 30 years and should be graduates. The chief of the institute Swami Tejomayananda had been trained in this regard from Mumbai. He will be conducting the training classes.

Interested persons can get the application forms and other details from Chinmaya Sandipani Ashram, Chokkahalli, Kolar - telephone number - 0852 234001, according to a press release issued by the manager of Chinmaya Mission Institute here on Saturday.

Youth ends life

KGF, dhns: An SSLC students ended life by jumping into a well at Betamangala police station limits. Srikumar (16) was not attending school regularly. Hence his mother reportedly scolded him. Following this the boy committed suicide by jumping into the well, police said.

ATM at KSRTC bus stand

An ATM of IDBI bank has been opened at KSRTC Bus Stand at Bejai on February 22 for the convenience of the customers, according to a press release.
