The Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital at Ravi Kirloskar Hospital Health City was inaugurated by cricketer Anil Kumble on Sunday. Kumble also pledged his eyes to the the eye bank at Nethradhama on the occasion.
The hospital with an area of 8000 sq feet, has facilities to treat various eye disorders, including lasic machines for correcting short sight, long sight and astigmatism, retina and glaucoma clinic. Nethradhama also has cornea and eye bank facilities.
The hospital is offering a one-month long free screening for senior citizens with cataract and youngsters who wear lens or glasses who want a permanent correction as an inaugural offer said Dr Sri Ganesh, Chairman and Managing Director of Nethradhama.
