Couple injured in accidental fire in Bagepalli

A couple where severely injured in Bagepalli in a accidently fire that occurred in their house on Wednesday morning.

The couple Ejaz Ahmed and Mubeen Taj have been admitted to a hospital in Bangalore for treatment following the fire accident at their house in ward no 12 in Bagepalli.

It is said that the use of substandard pipes lead to the leaking of the domestic gas and when Mubeen Taj tried to lit the stove in the kitchen the gas which had already spread in the air caught fire and soon she was engulfed in it.

Though she managed to came out of the kitchen she was still caught in fire. Her screams alerted husband Ejaz who was having a bath and came out to rescue her.  But in deadly spate Mubeen in desperation hugged her husband tightly as a result  Ejaz too caught fire.

The screams of the husband and wife then drawn the attention of the neighbours who then extinguished the fire and took the couple to hospital.

A case has been registered by the local police station and investigations are being conducted.
