With the government devising alternative ways to trail black money, the Banking Transaction Tax (BTT) will be withdrawn by the end of this year, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said here on Wednesday.

Reliance Communications Q4 net up 9.5% at Rs 1,503 cr  
Anil Ambani group firm Reliance Communications, on Wednesday, announced a 9.5 per cent growth in its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 at Rs 1,503.20 crore as against Rs 1,372.90 crore in the previous fiscal's quarter.
