In the new guidance, the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reminded financial services firms that they don't need to use fire sale prices when evaluating their hard to price assets.
Exports in Aug up 26.9 per cent  
In rupee terms, exports touched Rs 68,721 crore, which was 33.5 per cent higher than the value of exports during August, 2007.
Tata Steel to pick 19.9% stake in Canadian firm  
The wholly-owned indirect subsidiary Tata Steel Global Minerals Holdings Pvt Ltd entered into a binding agreement with the Canadian firm for becoming a strategic investor in it, a Tata Steel statement said.
