Global Scholar Inc, a Seattle (USA)-based company which manages www.globalscholar.com and provides a plethora of quality education services for students, parents, teachers and schools/colleges worldwide, and EducationWorld, India’s sole education news and analysis magazine with over 750,000 readers countrywide, invites applications/nominations for the Global Scholar-EducationWorld Young Achievers Awards 2008.  The pan-India GlobalScholar-EW Young Achievers Awards are open to all Indian citizens between ages 12-25 and acknowledge and celebrate young achievers in four fields of endeavour: Science, Maths and Technology; Arts and Music; Social Work and Sports.

Nominations (including self-nominations) will be assessed by IL&FS Education and Technology Services Ltd — India’s largest school curriculum and content development company – and eight Young Achievers from across India will be invited (all expenses paid) for the final round of interviews to be held in Bangalore. Thereafter a high-quality Global Scholar-EducationWorld jury will interview the eight finalists, of whom one in each category will be adjudged the GlobalScholar-EducationWorld Young Achievers 2008 at a unique celebratory convocation in Bangalore.
