Royal Classic plans to hike retail outlets

 Royal Classic Group, manufacturer of Classic Polo T-Shirts, on Wednesday, said the company plans to increase its retail outlets to 100 from the existing 48 and set up stores in Singapore and UAE.

“With a strong presence in the south, we plan to enter the west region in our next phase. We will be opening 40 outlets across the country by March 2008,” Executive Director R Sivaram said adding the investment would be around Rs 8 crore. The company will be opening 4 stores in Singapore by end of December 2007.
The company also launched its new signature auto-fit trousers ‘zero press’ which has waist band adjustment, along with wrinkle resistance and super crease features.

With an investment of Rs 4 crore, the company has set up a new plant for trousers segment with a capacity of 800 trousers per shift, which is to double in a month.
