Texas Instruments India Pvt. Ltd has announced that the fifth annual National Texas Instruments Jack Kilby Science and Technology Quiz will be held this year in Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore, starting with the regional round in Bangalore on November 11.
At the Bangalore regional rounds, students have the opportunity to win gifts like high-end robotic kits, telescopes and binoculars. The winners along with a teacher will be flown to Bangalore for the final rounds. JRF position at BU
Bangalore University invites applications from eligible candidates for JRF position in a DST sanctioned three years research project to Dr M Jayananda, Department of Geology, Bangalore University, Jnanabharathi campus, Bangalore- 560 056.
Applicants should have obtained first class M.Sc in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Science from recognised University and should have an aptitude to work in field as well as laboratories in Bangalore as well as outside Bangalore.
The monthly Fellowship is Rs 8000 with admissible HRA. Abacus competition
