M C Dinesh has been elected the president of Vijayanagar Club recently. Earlier, he was the secretary of the Club. Dinesh is a small-scale industrialist by profession. He is also the Chairman of the Overseas Business Development, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA).
Social work award
Dr A R Anand, eye specialist and medical director of Sudarshana Netralaya has been selected for the ‘Sir M Vishvesvaraiah National Sadbhavana Award’ for his contribution to social work. The Karunada Rakhshana Sene organisation, Bangalore will confer the award on Nov 3 at Sir Puttanna Chetty Purabhavana.
