Cherie’s memoirs get 1.5 m pounds
Cherie Blair, wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, has signed a 1.5 million pound deal to bring out an “intimate” portrait of her family’s life at Downing Street in the form of an autobiography, reports PTI from London.
The book, which she is working on without the help of a ghost writer, will be published in October next year and is likely to be accompanied by a high-profile promotional tour of Britain and America.
According to Daily Mail, Cherie could make even more from the US rights of the book and a TV or even a film deal.
Gita, Quran at Bishop’s funeral
