KING OF GOOD TIMES
DHNS

Good times is what Vijay Mallya has been promising over the years and Friday night was no exception. Even though the rain threatened to play spoilsport, Bangalore’s creme de la creme came to the UB City  to congratulate the liquor baron on his latest venture. Mallya had organised a king size party to announce the launch of Kingfisher International, and his well-wishers were there to wish him luck.

The guests had a ‘taste’ of the flight services, what with them being served with liquor and food that will be available to passengers on board the Bangalore-London flight. A bar counter resembling that on the airline was also set up. Air hostesses welcomed the guests, to whom Mallya and his family attended to personally. “What next?” one of the guests wanted to know and Mallya said, “Making Kingfisher the official airline of Bangalore.”

The logo ‘Fly Five Star’ was also unveiled at the party. The flight will take off for the first time on September 3. In-seat massage, traditional Indian thali, lounge bar, live TV... the flight is equipped with these and many more luxuries.

“We want to provide the finest experience in the skies and enable passengers to have fun memories of their travel. Kingfisher wants to become the biggest bank for your bucks. Ultimately, we want to wow the world,” said Mallya thanking Bangalore for its patronage.

Bangalore-Singapore and Bangalore-Hong Kong are some of the flights that have been planned for September. And in November, Bangalore-San Francisco Kingfisher flight is expected to take wings in the international skies.
