Cocktail of food and fashion
DHNS

‘The Spirit of freedom’ was the culmination of a series of fashion events organised in the month of August in different cities around the country to coincide with our sixty first independence day anniversary .

Taking a much needed mid-week break were the young professionals, fashionistas and party folks of the Silicon City who enjoyed an evening of food, cocktails, music and fashion.

While the models were displaying the young exuberant creations in silks in jewelled tones and colours, the enthusiastic crowd was chilling out with margaritas, mojitos, martinis and tequila shots doing the rounds.
“Nothing like a fashion show to liven up the evening and provide the glamour quotient to the fun and frolic,” said Rashmi Lulla, a hospitality professional.

“The atmosphere is buzzing and  the young, trendy corporate crowd loved the clothes as the designer has used the silk cleverly with very wearable colours and classic styles. The place has a buzz about it that is very young and happening and the clothes this evening really suit the mood,” said  fashion designer Raj Shroff.
Namrata G, Harish Bijoor, Annath Iyer were all spotted having a great time. Said Sushil Heri,  a businessman, “The vibrant colours coupled with the simple elegant lines make the clothes both easy to wear and fun. Even if we can’t dance to the great music, it is still a perfect mid-week destresser,” he added.
