“BJP will secure first place in the local body elections across the State by securing over 50 per cent seats,” said BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda.
Participating in the election campaign for the BJP candidates contesting for Kushalnagar Town Panchayat, Mr Gowda said that BJP will surely rise to power in majority places across the State.
The pro-people works undertaken by the coalition government will be the main factor for the victory of BJP this election.
Commenting on the transfer of power, Mr Gowda said that there is absolutely no confusion on this topic between the coalition partners. All the chaos have been created by the Congress.
“As per the agreement, CM H D Kumaraswamy will hand over the power to BJP on October 3. Even if this does not happen then BJP is capable of contesting for the election,” he added.
District-in-Charge Minister Ramachandre Gowda said that BJP was responsible for bringing Rs 5.5 crore to Madikeri City Municipal Council, Rs 2 crore each to Kushalnagar and Somwarpete Town Panchayats and Rs 2.5 crore to Virajpete Town Panchayat.
State Bhusena Nigama President M P Appacchuranjan, District BJP former president S G Medappa and others were present.
‘JD (S) will win’
JD(S) President V P Shashidhar said that JD(S) will surely come to power at the Kushalnagar Town Panchayat by majority.
Participating in the election propaganda for the JD(S) candidates, Mr Shashidhar visited homes of electorate seeking their votes on Tuesday.
Addressing the reporters he said that the main aim of JD(S) is to bring about all round sevelopment in Kushalnagar which is growing at a fast pace.
He opined that the developmental works undertaken by CM H D Kumaraswamy will be of great help to the party.
JD(S) party workers, candidates Krishnojirao, T R Sharavana Kumar, Savitha Govindaraju, Pramila Robin, N R Nagesh, H T Vasanth and others participated in the propaganda.
