The casual vacancy round seat selection process for diploma holders for admission to day engineering colleges for General Merit and all reserved category candidates up to last rank was concluded on Wednesday.

In the end, 872 seats remained unfilled.

On September 27, casual vacancy round seat selection process for diploma holders for admission to Mysore Evening Engineering colleges will be held as per the notified schedule.

Sessions today

In the first session, seats will be offered to the reserved category candidates including GMK and GMR categories and thereafter the seats, which remain will be transferred to the General Merit and reserved category candidates in the order of merit offered in the second session. In total, 88 seats are available for selection.

Medical seats

Special medical casual vacancy round seat selection will be held for 40 medical seats in SBMC, Chitradurga and for 7 cancelled medical seats and 2 dental seats, on September 27 after 3 pm as per the notified schedule.

All the eligible candidates, who have attended/not attended/selected/ not selected any seats reported/ not reported to the respective colleges are eligible to participate in the special casual vacancy round as per the following schedule, excluding the candidates who have already taken mutual transfers from the Director of Medical Education in respect of their medical and dental seats.
