It's Ganesha Chaturthi. People across the country are in a festive mood and all set to celebrate, splurge and have a good time. That the Lord himself loves gorging upon kadubus and modakas, only lends an epicurean twist to the celebrations. But not everyone loves ostentation. Some like to keep the festivities quiet and personal, while others love being flamboyant. Some splurge as if there is no tomorrow and some others prefer to remain in a philosophically reflective mood.
