A dostana crunch

A dostana crunch

Talk about friendship in the industry and the first names that come to your mind are undoubtedly that of Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. However, this dostana might see minor shakes this November, nearer to the release of their next films.

While Karan Johar is planning an elaborate promotional exercise for his film Dostana, we hear that the release might see some heat as Shah Rukh's next production Billo Barber may be postponed to the same day (November 14), which might create a couple of ripples in the relationship.

Trisha to croon for Rahman

Tamil actress Trisha says she is thrilled to sing for a forthcoming movie under the baton of A R Rahman. "I was thrilled when Rahman invited me to sing. I could not refuse the chance because I'm bowled over by his talent," said Trisha. "I think I sing okay, but never dared to do so in public," added the actress who featured in two hits — Tamil film Kuruvi and Telugu movie Bujjigadu. Though there has been no official announcement, sources close to Rahman and the actress said the movie might be Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikkalam. Trisha's upcoming movies include Abhiyum Naanum which is scheduled for an early October release.

‘Why don't you get married ?’

Here's what happened when host Salman Khan invited Singh is Kinng stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif on his show 10 Ka Dum. "Sallu was his usual witty self. Akki took all the jibes in his stride and when he felt the time was right,  he made a few of his own. At one point Akki even asked the host, “Why don't you want to get married to your beautiful girlfriend Kat?”

Salman who has never admitted to his relationship with Kaif, didn't like this public outing. But Kumar
didn't stop here. He went on to tell the host that he has a nice girl like Kat and he should treat her properly. Then he added the final blow by saying that Kat was young and Sallu was getting old, he should think hard about settling down as one and shouldn't be alone at his age.

Katrina appeared shocked at Akshay's comments but didn't say much. Akshay won Rs 10 lakh and donated it to a charity of his choice.
