MEG get better of Postal
MEG quelled a mid-match fightback from Postal to troop out 28-26, 21-25, 25-16, 21-15 victors in the Karnataka State Senior ‘A’ division volleyball championship at the Sree Kanteerava stadium outdoor courts on Saturday.
After clinching a tight first set, courtesy excellent work by Manoj and Ratish, MEG saw Postal level things up, spurred by Abijith and Sardar.

Jolted by dropping the second set, the Sappers upped their game and ran away with sets three and four.
There were no such problems for ASC, who won as they pleased against an outclassed BEL, as evidenced by the 25-16, 25-14, 25-13 scoreline.

In the women’s category, Vidyanagar School rallied from 1-2 down to put it past Mount Carmel in a thrilling five-setter 24-26, 25-15, 20-25, 25-10, 15-7.
