The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Sunday reclaimed its property worth more than Rs 15 crore at Hudson Circle, in the heart of the City.
 

Jawahar Service Station was running a fuel outlet on 5,730-sq ft land near the BBMP head office, even after the lease period had expired. According to a press release issued by the  Palike, the owners of the service station had moved the court which ruled in favour of the Palike. A team of BBMP officers comprising Joint Commissioner (East) Yathish Kumar and Chief Engineer (East) B S Prasad reclaimed the property.

Prasad said that the property, which originally belonged to the Hudson Church, was sold to Palike for Rs 2.75 crore and it was now worth Rs 15 crore.
