The competition for juniors and sub-juniors was organised yesterday by the Maharashtra Taekwondo Academy.The actor and wife Gauri were at the Sachivalay Gymkhana in South Mumbai to cheer the children.
The proud father tweeted, "son & daughter won gold in Taekwondo Nationals. Suhana was like a newcomer (aggressive)...Aryan fought like a thespian (technical)."
The actor-producer was presented with a honorary belt in Taekwondo by the South Korean government last year.
Speaking to reporters after the competition yesterday, the actor stressed the need for encouraging such sports among children.
